Open Angers Loire Trélazé Guide — WTA 125 Dates, Draw, Points, Prize Money and Every Champion

The Open Angers Loire Trélazé is an indoor hard-court WTA 125 played at the Arena Loire in Trélazé, on the edge of Angers, in the first week of December. The 2026 edition is the sixth, and the sixth in a row at the same arena. The tournament is run under Nicolas Mahut, who launched it in 2021, with former French player Pauline Parmentier as its ambassador.

Its short list of champions already holds a lucky loser, a player who won WTA 125 titles in back-to-back weeks and a final against a former Olympic champion on her way back from maternity leave. Alycia Parks is the only player to have won it twice.

Dates and Schedule

The 2026 tournament runs from Monday 30 November to Sunday 6 December, three weeks after the WTA Finals close the main tour season.

  • Qualifying: Sunday 29 November from 10:00, behind closed doors
  • Singles main draw: Monday 30 November to Sunday 6 December
  • Doubles: Thursday 3 December to Sunday 6 December
  • Semifinals: Saturday 5 December from 12:00
  • Finals: Sunday 6 December from 12:30

Draw and Format

The singles draw has 32 players: 21 direct acceptances, four qualifiers, six wild cards and one special exempt. The organisers have said French players have priority for the wild cards. How to read a tennis draw explains each entry label. The doubles draw has eight teams, so doubles starts at the quarterfinals.

Entry lists change up to the draw. Players withdrawing early are replaced by alternates in ranking order, and a withdrawal after the draw opens a place for a lucky loser. That route produced the first Angers champion.

Ranking Points

The champion earns 125 WTA ranking points. The 2026 WTA ranking point chart for a WTA 125 with a 32-player draw:

A qualifier who wins a main-draw match adds main-draw points for her furthest round to her qualifying points. A qualifier who loses her first main-draw match keeps only the qualifier points.

Prize Money

Total prize money is $115,000. The per-round breakdown has not been published. The rules on what a late withdrawal costs a player are in WTA prize money withdrawals explained.
