Steven Hodel is the founder and editor of Global Tennis News, an independent publication covering the ATP and WTA tours, the Grand Slams, and the stories the bigger outlets move past. He has reported on site under media accreditation at the Australian Open (2026), the Miami Open (2019 and 2021 through 2026) and the Cincinnati Open (2026), and shoots his own match photography. His work focuses on the layer between the day's result and the weekly long-read — the tactical patterns, ranking math, and structural context that explain not just what happened but why it matters and what comes next.
