Global Tennis News uses artificial intelligence tools as part of how the site is produced. This page explains where those tools are used, where they are not, and who is accountable for what we publish.
Where we use AI tools
We use large language model tools, including Anthropic’s Claude, to assist with research, drafting and editing articles, writing headlines and search descriptions, and maintaining the website.
In research, AI tools help gather and organize material from official and named sources. They are not treated as a source in their own right. Every factual claim in a published article is checked against the official or named source it comes from.
Human review and accountability
Every article is reviewed, fact-checked, edited and approved by Steven Hodel before publication. Nothing is published automatically. The byline on an article means the editor stands behind its accuracy, regardless of which tools were used to produce it.
What AI tools are not used for
Quotes. Every quote comes from a press conference transcript, a media release, a credited interview or our own interviews. AI tools are never used to create quotes or to put words in anyone’s mouth.
On-site reporting. Courtside observation, interviews and photography at tournaments are done in person.
Images. We do not publish AI-generated images presented as photographs of real players, matches or events.
Facts. AI output is never the sole basis for a factual claim.
Errors
If an article contains an error, it is corrected under our Corrections Policy, regardless of how the article was produced. Responsibility rests with the editor, not the tool.
