GTN Daily is a free tennis guessing game from Global Tennis News. One mystery player from the ATP or WTA tour, the same for everyone, six guesses to name them.
How to Play
Start typing any player’s name and pick them from the list. Your guess appears as a row in the grid, and each column compares that player with the mystery player. Green means an exact match. Gold means you are close. An arrow on a number tells you whether the answer is higher or lower than your guess.
Use each row to narrow the field. If your guess is a 25-year-old Italian, and Country shows gold while Age shows gold with a down arrow, the answer is European but not Italian, and one to three years younger. Six guesses is enough if every one is chosen to rule something out.

The Plays column reads as hand and backhand: R / 2H is a right-hander with a two-handed backhand, L / 1H a left-hander with a one-hander. Regions are Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Oceania and Africa.
Watch the career-high arrow. An up arrow means the answer’s number is higher than your guess, and in rankings a higher number is a lower ranking. If you guessed a former world No. 5 and the arrow points up, the mystery player peaked below fifth.
Who Is in the Player Pool
The pool holds more than 130 players from the current ATP and WTA tours, from Grand Slam champions such as Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek to established tour regulars and the next generation. Retired and inactive players are removed, and Grand Slam totals and career highs are updated after each major. Nationality reflects the country a player currently represents.
When the puzzle ends, the answer panel links to the player’s full profile on Global Tennis News wherever one exists. Browse every player in the GTN player profiles index to sharpen up before tomorrow.
Streaks and Sharing
Your games played, solve rate, current streak and best streak are saved in your browser, so there is no account to create. Clearing your browser data or switching devices starts the count again. After each puzzle, Copy your result produces a spoiler-free grid of coloured squares you can paste into a message or post.

When does a new player appear?
A new puzzle unlocks every day at midnight UTC−4. Everyone playing on the same day gets the same player.
Is GTN Daily free?
Yes. There is nothing to download and no sign-up. It runs in any modern browser on phone or desktop.
Can I play earlier puzzles?
Not yet. GTN Daily is one puzzle per day, and the streak counter rewards coming back each day.
Does it include men and women?
Yes. The mystery player can come from either tour, which is why Tour is the first column. Guessing across tours early is a quick way to settle it.
A player’s details look wrong. Who do I tell?
Rankings and titles move every week. If a figure looks out of date, contact us and we will check it against the official ATP and WTA records. Corrections follow our corrections policy.
